## What you can post on Telegram

- **First comment:** Not yet. Telegram keeps comments in the channel’s discussion group
- **Replies to comments:** Not yet
- **Numbers:** No. Telegram gives bots no view counts. Shager shows how many people clicked your links

## Questions

### Do I give you my password or phone number?

No. Click "Connect Telegram" in Shager, open our bot in Telegram and add it as an admin of your channel. It only gets the right to post, edit and delete messages.

### Can I connect a private channel?

Yes. A private channel works just like a public one. Only the link to a post stays internal, since it has no public address.

### What stops someone from connecting a channel that isn’t theirs?

Before a channel connects, Shager asks Telegram whether the person connecting it owns the channel or is an admin who can post. If not, it doesn’t connect.

### How do I disconnect?

Remove the account in Shager and the bot leaves the channel. You can also just remove the bot from the channel’s admins in Telegram.
