# One post to all your Threads profiles

Write once, pick a time, and the post goes out on all your Threads profiles, with its own text on each if you like.

**Awaiting network approval.** Everything is built and working. Until Meta approves Shager, only people we gave early access can connect. As soon as it does, it opens to everyone.

## What you can post on Threads

- **What you connect:** Threads profiles
- **Post:** Up to 500 characters; an emoji counts as several
- **Media:** One photo, one video up to 5 minutes, or a carousel of up to 20
- **Link card:** A text post can show a link as a card
- **Who can reply:** Everyone, people you follow, people you mention, or your followers

## Once it’s live

- **First comment:** Yes, as a reply from the same profile
- **Replies to comments:** Not automatic yet. You can read, answer and hide replies from Shager
- **Numbers:** Yes: views, likes, replies, reposts and quotes per post

## Questions

### Do I give you my password?

No. You sign in on Threads’ own page. Your password never reaches us, and you can disconnect the profile in Shager any time.

### Why does an emoji count as several characters?

That’s how Threads counts: an emoji counts by its size, usually 4. Shager counts the same way, so you know before posting if the text is too long.

### How many posts a day?

Threads allows 250 posts per profile in 24 hours. Shager checks before every post and tells you if a profile has reached it.
