Accessibility Statement
Updated:
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use the Shager website and app. This statement is published in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law and its accessibility regulations for services.
Target level
Our target is conformance with Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA and with WCAG 2.1 at level AA, on which it is based. Where we can, we also follow the newer WCAG 2.2 criteria.
How we build the site
We design and build to these practices:
- The site is built in Hebrew, right to left, with a full English version. Each page declares its language and direction.
- Pages use real headings, landmarks and lists, so screen readers can move through them.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard, and the keyboard focus is always visible.
- Text and controls meet the contrast requirements.
- Text can be enlarged up to 200% without losing content, and the layout works on narrow screens.
- Animations respect the "reduce motion" setting of your system.
- Forms have visible labels and clear error messages.
- We do not use an accessibility overlay widget. We fix the site itself.
Known limitations
We are honest about what is not finished yet:
- The website is being redesigned. Our automated checks found a few issues on public pages that are being fixed as part of the redesign: the contrast of the orange buttons, the name the screen reader announces for the logo link, and comparison tables that scroll sideways on narrow screens without keyboard access.
- Blog images: we are still adding full text alternatives to some images in older blog posts.
- Content you publish: whether images and videos you publish through Shager have text alternatives and captions depends on you. The app does not yet let you add a text alternative to an image; we are adding it.
- Third-party content: previews of posts from social networks and media uploaded by users may not be fully accessible. We do not control that content.
- The app: the main screens were checked (see below). Screens that open from links sent by email, such as client approval and account connection pages, have not had an automated check yet.
Shager is an online service. It has no offices or service points open to the public.
If you find anything else, please tell us.
How we checked
The website and the app were last checked in October 2026, with automated tests and manual review:
- Automated tests: axe-core, with the WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 level A and AA rules, on the home, pricing, privacy, accessibility, sign-up and sign-in pages in Hebrew and English, and on the app's main screens (dashboard, calendar, new post, accounts, links, groups, settings, agents), each at desktop and phone width. The issues found in the app were fixed.
- Manual review: keyboard-only use, visible focus, zoom, narrow screens, contrast, headings and labels.
We check again whenever we make significant changes.
