One Pin, on every Pinterest account you run
Write once, pick a time and a board, and the Pin goes out on all your Pinterest accounts. The post’s text becomes the Pin’s description.
Everything is built and working. Until Pinterest approves Shager, only people we gave early access can connect. As soon as it does, it opens to everyone.
During the launch period everything is free, no card. Unlimited users on every plan.
The link is clickable, as the Pin’s own link
What you can post on Pinterest
- What you connect
- Pinterest business accounts
- Pin
- One image (JPEG or PNG; other types are converted), or a carousel of 2 to 5 images
- Video
- One video, 4 seconds to 15 minutes and up to 2 GB; the post’s cover image becomes the Pin’s cover
- Title and description
- A title up to 100 characters (feeds show about the first 40); the post’s text is the description, up to 800
- Link
- The Pin’s own link, where a tap takes people. It’s Shager’s tracked link, so every click is counted
- Board
- You pick one for each account; no board, no Pin
- AI label
- Mark the post as made with AI and the Pin carries Pinterest’s AI-modified label
Once it’s live
- First comment
- No. Pinterest has no API for comments
- Replies to comments
- No. Pinterest doesn’t let apps read or answer comments
- Numbers
- Yes: impressions, saves, comments and reactions per Pin, plus followers
Questions
Do I give you my password?
No. You sign in on Pinterest’s own screen, then confirm the account on Shager’s page. Your password never reaches us.
I have a personal account. Can I connect it?
Switch it to a business account first. You do that in Pinterest’s settings, and it’s free.
Why isn’t the link in the description?
Because a link in a Pin’s description can’t be clicked. So it goes in the Pin’s link field, which is the one people tap.
Can my agent pick the board?
Yes. list_channels returns each account’s boards, and the agent sends a pinterest_board_id for each account. Shager never pins on its own: a Pin goes out only after you or your agent created it.
